Northland Natives Earn NSIC Golf Honors

(Northland's NewsCenter) --- Two Northland native golfers have earned all-conference honors after competing this season in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), it was announced on Tuesday.
Virginia native Casey Hill, now a senior at Bemidji State, was named to the NSIC all-conference first team after leading the Beavers and the conference with a scoring average of 74.8 per round.
Hill qualified for the NSIC championship, carding a 12-over-par 296 to finish third. He was also named this year to the NSIC all-tournament team.
Grand Rapids native Matt McClure, meanwhile, was given NSIC all-conference honorable mention after finishing with a scoring average of 77.0 per round with the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
McClure also qualified for the NSIC championship, finishing 41st with a 42-over-par 326.
